We have a special group rate of $309 per night + taxes and fees for rooms between October 1 - 4, 2026. For guests arriving from out-of-town (or Damon who just loves a staycation) we’ve arranged hotel blocks at The Livingston JdV by Hyatt in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. The Livingston is just three stops away from us on the 4-train and within walking distance or a short drive to great food, shopping, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Love note: If you choose to stay at another hotel, we highly advise asking a local because some of these hotels are not what they say they are (ask Dillon)!!

Train • For those looking for an adventure, with good knees, no young kids, and stamina to get up and down stairs. The MTA subway system is an easy and affordable way to get around the city. Do not take the train to our wedding, you do not have time to get lost. Lyfts &amp; Ubers • Easiest choice more often than not. Of course they add up – but that’s your pocket, not ours. Car Service &amp; Cabs • We like to use car services and cabs to get to/from the airport. They are MUCH more affordable than carshare and easier to get in and out. We use Apple Radio Cars, 718-363-9000. Car Rental • If and only if you like dealing with parallel parking. And traffic. And you’re an aggressive driver. You’d be better off with Uber though.

Music is our love language, live jazz is our favorite date night vibe &amp; Robtober Fest - hosted every October - is always a good idea.

A first kiss so dreamy they named the bar after it. Formerly called St. Ends, Kissa Kissa is a cute cocktail bar perfect for a lowkey nightcap where we had drinks after the fancy dinner date that sealed the deal on our relationship.&nbsp;
